The Herbert Mahne Family Foundation was created by Marlo Mahne Aragon who was severely burned as a child. She is eternally grateful for all of the assistance and support she received from the medical community, family, and friends during her recovery. Therefore, upon her paternal grandfather’s death, Ms. Mahne Aragon created the Herbert Mahne Family Foundation from her inheritance in 2000. The Foundation funds programs that assist juvenile burn victims throughout the United States.
The foundation is qualified and classified as a section 501 (c ) (3) private foundation and makes gifts to other charitable organization that are not private foundations. The foundation is committed primarily to funding education, health and medical research as well as support programs for hospitals that specialize in burn care.
